The opportunity
Now is an exciting time to join the EY Assurance group as we help clients navigate complex technology, AI and data challenges. Our Data and Intelligence Delivery (DID) team specializes in leading and emerging technologies to collect, combine, and explore data to create insights that support our clients' decision-making processes. We assist organizations and EY teams in implementing technologies and AI, improving data integrity and quality, and enabling more reliable reports and insights in accounting, finance, governance, and regulatory matters.
You’ll find that every day at EY is a new opportunity, as you’ll have plenty of variety working across many different sectors, from retail to manufacturing, banking to pharmaceuticals, to energy — where you’ll learn extensively about different workflows and IT infrastructures. We’ll need you to become a specialist, mastering the fundamentals and guiding clients through complex technology and data challenges. You’ll learn a broad range of technology, AI and data science skills; and develop an intimate knowledge of our clients’ systems and processes.
As a DID Staff, you will be introduced to various service offerings during an extensive on-the-job training program. Once you have developed the necessary skills, you will have the opportunity to assist local and global engagement teams on various projects, ranging from technology builds to analysis to insights generation, depending on your interests and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop strong relationships among team members and build productive working relationships with clients to deliver exceptional client service.
Utilize technology and AI to continually learn and develop skills.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of business and accounting practices to proactively identify opportunities and deliver enhanced value to clients.
Keep abreast of the latest technological advancements and trends to ensure the application of cutting-edge solutions in client projects.
Collaborate with team members to think critically and assist in the development and integration of enhanced policies, processes, and technologies that will address clients’ needs.
Collect, combine, and explore data to create insights that support client decision-making.
Perform quality checks on deliverables to ensure high-quality outputs for clients.
Proactively communicate project and task status to various stakeholders.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must
Have or be working toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, AI, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
Strong critical thinking skills, as well as strong verbal and written skills to communicate succinctly with impact.
Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
Ideally, you will have
A client first mindset; with experience in fast-paced environments.
Business and accounting acumen to analyze financial data, support strategic planning, and deliver high-impact solutions for clients.
Experience with AI (e.g., GenAI, Copilot), data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and basic coding knowledge (e.g., low code ETL, Python, Databricks).
Willingness to learn advanced data science, LLM, and coding skills
Experience with product design and UI/UX.
Familiarity with relational database design and management.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $75,000 to $88,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
