Your key responsibilities
As an Intern Consultant in the Studio+ practice at EY, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer-led transformation. You will have the unique opportunity to be aligned to the Design Studio team within Studio+ Business, allowing you to specialize in an area that aligns with your skills and interests.
During the recruiting process, you will be aligned and interview for one of the competencies based on your skills and experiences.
Studio+ Business Design Studio+ Focus: In the Studio+ Business team, you will contribute to various areas, including:
- Innovation: Participate in research and innovation strategies to drive product development and design.
- Digital & Product: Develop strategies for customer and employee experience, enable business capabilities and optimize digital products.
- Research & Experience Design: Engage in UX research, service design and usability testing to enhance customer interactions.
Typical role:
UX Designer: As a Designer, you will contribute to the creation of new digital experiences for clients or evaluate and enhance their existing digital experiences. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary group with researchers, UX engineers, engagement team members and other designers, gaining exposure to multiple client industries, each posing new technical and creative challenges.
Specifically, you will:
- Help create clear and thorough documentation and prototypes
- Work to achieve defined KPIs and satisfy users through design
- Share work in progress and participate in design reviews
- Contribute to the creation of presentations, workshop planning and client deliverables
- Present project work
- Assist with user research and usability testing

Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must:
- Be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, UX design, industrial design or another related field.
- Have a portfolio reflecting design experience in a web and/or digital product environment.
- Have foundational knowledge of interaction design, visual design and related software.
- Desire to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary groups across a variety of complex projects.
- Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain a flexible approach in various project settings.
- Understand that the expectation for this role is in person teaming, at a client site or in an EY office, on average 3 days a week depending on the needs of the engagement, project or practice area.
- Have access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
- Be able and willing to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
- Be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, now and in the future.
Ideally you:
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
- Demonstrate a capacity to innovate and adapt in a dynamic business environment, continuously seeking improvement.
- Exhibit a strong desire to learn and have a purpose-driven approach to transform challenges into opportunities and drive impactful change.
- Employ collaborative skills and a keen interest in technology to positively impact both global and domestic business operations.
- Show a strong bias for action with impeccable follow-through on tasks and project deliverables.

The hourly pay range for this job in the US is $35.63 to $43.39 per hour. Individual salaries are based on education, geographic location, and alignment to the market data.
