The opportunity

EY-Parthenon’s (EYP) professionals work with clients to create social and economic value by helping them make better, more informed decisions about strategically managing capital and transactions in fast-changing markets. Working in EYP is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to become a world-class business advisor to some of the largest and most prestigious companies in the world. You will gain technical expertise, access to a variety of industries, holistic views of clients’ issues and strategic objectives, as well as deep knowledge and firsthand experience with the range of value-creating solutions we provide. We believe that by helping companies manage their capital agenda and driving their competitive advantage, we’ll help them increase returns through improved decisions across all aspects of their capital agenda - and here you’ll be right at the heart of that mission.

Your key responsibilities

As a Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Summer Associate at EY-Parthenon, you will engage in advisory services such as portfolio analysis, scenario development, and financial modeling for companies and projects. Your role includes working on CRE analysis for M&A, supporting global site selection, facilities management, and optimizing real estate portfolios. You will identify cost-saving opportunities, align real estate with business plans, and provide strategic recommendations on various real estate decisions. You will also develop practical options to optimize net present value (NPV), assess occupancy rates, and integrate strategies for workplace sustainability and finance into portfolio management.

  • Proficiency in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment

  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.

  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites; a driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations

Ideally, you will have

  • Technology-savvy skills, with some experience in portfolio modeling software

  • A demonstrated interest in corporate real estate and/or experience with a consulting company or real estate brokerage firm

  • Outstanding academic performance, including coursework relevant to the position, such as quantitative courses in finance, mathematics, business, economics, biologic sciences, computer science, or engineering

  • Demonstrated interest in related fields through internships, coursework or extracurricular activities

  • A strong aptitude for quantitative and qualitative research and analysis

  • The ability to assess complex situations and business problems to formulate potential solutions for our clients
