Our approach helps businesses understand their tax liabilities, identify risks and opportunities, and align with their broader tax strategy, reinforcing the critical role of tax and finance in the modern business landscape. Learn from our experienced professionals, cutting-edge technology, and proven methodologies to effectively manage our clients’ indirect tax posture.
Your Key Responsibilities
The Indirect Tax Technology team supports the delivery of domestic and international tax services within our Indirect Tax practice.
As an Intern on the technology team, your role will include:

- Gathering, reconciling, and analyzing client data to identify tax issues, opportunities and automation possibilities.
- Building and maintaining SQL, Python, HTML/CSS/JavaScript and Alteryx tools that improve the accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability of client deliverable production.
- Documenting current‑state processes, system data flows, requirements, and issues to support advising on future‑state design and implementation roadmaps.
- Helping translate tax requirements into practical data, process, and technology solutions.
- Contributing to client satisfaction by responding to client needs and delivering timely, high‑quality work products.
- Participating in client meetings and collaborating with EY tax and technology teams to deliver fully integrated services.

- An analytical approach to work, with a focus on using data to overcome complex business challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
